I'm using firefox 3.5. I tried ieTab with ie 8, but wouldn't work, so I deleted ie8, and installed ie 7. Still can't get ietab to work. I've always had to close ff completely before getting netflix to work properly in ie. I think that when switching rendering engines, its not working because ff is still open. Any ideas?

I just purchased an LG BD370 player and have a Netflix account to stream movies through my Qwest DSL router via ethernet cable. I set several movies up in the Play Movies instantly Queu. Some in the queu will download and play on my TV (LG50p60sc) just fine, but several of them refuse to download to play. They will however, download and play on my PC. Of course, Netflix said it was an equipment issue, LG elctronics said it was a Netflix issue. Any thoughts?

I'm running vista 64 and have silverlight 3 installed but have no sound to any of the videos. If I try it on my desktop I have no problems but I can't get the sound to play at all on my laptop. I have just subscribed again after not having it over the summer and last spring it worked fine. Can anyone help? Thank you!

"I don’t want to seem cruel but if you want to use a free service don’t cheat the people who give it to you."

I don't know what free service it is that you are referring to. I pay for my Netflix account. If they want to give me the option to forego charges in exchange for a device number limit I might go for it. In the meantime I pay for unlimited instant video streaming and since part of the idea is that the service goes with me I'll work around bugs like this as I please.

I am facing the same problem Error 8156 4001. When I called Netflix tech support, I was told that it was a network fluctuation problem. I have a TimeWarnerCable connection and have not faced this problem prior to the new Silverlight update. I have tried on Firefox, and Safari but get the same problem whenever I try to view anything. I can watch for a couple of minutes (one or two segments that get initially buffered) and then the error appears. This really spoils the "Watch instantly" experience.

Also having this problem, although the last 4 numbers are not always the same. Simply refreshing the page works to fix it, temporarily. The problem is persistent and random, sometimes occurring several times while watching a movie, others once or twice or not at all.
Very frustrating
